    Our Baby Carriers are made of the following fabrics:
    1. Basic Range : Lightweight Cotton Twill
    2. Cotton Sateen: Fine-weave cotton
    3. Silks: Machine-Washable Thai Silk

    The cotton twill fabric used for our basic range and the cotton poplin fabric used for our tropix batik range are very durable fabrics.  These fabrics age well, getting softer with wash and use.   The Silks are also very durable.  For the cotton sateen fabrics, care has to be taken with these slings as they are made with very finely-woven cotton.  Please read care instructions below.
    Care Instructions for Basic Cottons:
    • Machine washable up to 40 degrees celsius
    • Do wash dark colours separately from the light-coloured items
    • May be handwashed, but DO NOT soak.
    • Do not use bleach.
    • Dark colors may bleed especially with the first wash.  If this is of great concern to you, do use a Colour-Fix (Dylon) for the first wash.
    • Tie socks over rings to protect your washer, or place your whole sling into a net laundry bag or pillowcase before laundering.
    • Do not put in the dryer
    • Do not iron at the rings.
    Care Instructions for Cotton Sateen Slings:
    • Machine wash on cold, delicate cycle.  Do not use warm nor hot water.
    • Tie socks over rings to protect your washer .
    • Have the cotton sateen sling tied in a pillowcase for machine wash or placed securely inside a small soft laundry net bag.  Using a pillow-case instead of a laundry net bag helps protect your fine sateen fabric.
    • May be handwashed in cool water, but do not soak.
    • Do not use bleach
    • Do wash dark colours separately from the light-coloured items
    • Dark colors may bleed especially with the first wash.  If this is of great concern to you, do use a Colour-Fix (Dylon) for the first wash.
    • Do not put in the dryer
    • Do not iron at the rings.
    Care Instructions for Silk Slings:
    • Machine wash on cold, delicate cycle. (Dry Clean not required)
    • Placing in a Laundry Net bag
    • May be handwashed, but do not soak.
    • Do not use bleach.
    • Do wash dark colours separately from the light-coloured items
    • Dark colors may bleed especially with the first wash.  If this is of great concern to you, do use a Colour-Fix (Dylon) for the first wash.
    • Tie socks over rings to protect your washer, or place your whole sling into a net laundry bag or pillowcase before laundering.
